This is a super simple base that can be eaten as is or used with any number of mix-ins. I really like banana’s with chocolate and peanut butter but it also works well with almost any fruit. Here are some of my favorites:

  • Chocolate: Chocolate Chips, Dark Chocolate Bar (chopped), Cacao Nibs
  • Peanut butter: Peanut Butter Chips, Reese’s Pieces, Peanut Butter Cups, Peanuts
  • Frozen Fruit: Mango, Raspberry, Blueberry, Strawberry
  • Cookies: Ready-to-eat Cookie Dough, Sandwich Cookies (Oreo or similar)
  • Nuts: Candied Pecans, Chopped Peanuts, Chopped Walnuts

If you don’t feel like running the mix-in setting on the Creami you can just add any of the mix-in ideas above as a topping. There are also some ingredients that work better as toppings like:

  • Syrups/Sauces: Chocolate, Caramel, Strawberry Ect.
  • Fruit Jams
  • Banana Foster Sauce
  • Maple Syrup
  • Honey

  • Chocolate: mix in cocoa powder or chocolate syrup prior to freezing
  • Peanut Butter: mix peanut butter powder in prior to freezing
  • Chocolate Peanut Butter: add both cocoa powder and peanut butter powder prior to freezing
  • Strawberry Banana: mash ripe strawberries in with the bananas
  • Serve alongside a scoop of Vanilla ice cream or this Coconut Vanilla Ice Cream!
